Reserve Bank of India auctions 364-day T-bills Dec 19

RBI auctioned 364-day T-bills yesterday (Dec. 19), for which the notified amount was Rs 10 billion. The multiple price-based auctions for the bills remained oversubscribed. RBI received 78 competitive bids worth Rs 44.85 billion for the bills. However, it accepted only 17 bids for the notified amount.

The cut-off price determined at Rs 92.90 offered a ytm (yield to maturity) of 7.6636%.

The weighted average price worked out to Rs 92.91, while the partial allotment percentage of competitive bids was 55.56 from 6 bids.

The apex bank received and accepted 1 non-competitive bid for the bills to the tune of Rs 2.5 billion.
