International cable group Liberty Global Inc. said its board authorized Dutch auction cash self-tender offers to buy up to 5.7 million shares of its Series A and Series C common stock.

The purchase would be priced at $40.00 to $44.00 per Series A and Series C share, the company said in a statement.
