Dominican Central Bank auctions RD$122.6M in properties

he Dominican Central Bank said 48 buildings, businesses, houses, apartments, buildings, farms, industrial properties, lots, and warehouses were sold for a total of RD$122.6 million in a session held June 18.

The Bank’s Assets Policies Realization Committee (COPRA) said the sale corresponds to the 6th Competitive Public Auction, convened on April 27, in which it received 96 offers for 64 of the 198 properties.

It said it has held 6 auctions of this type through COPRA, continuing the process to liquidate assets, as part of the Integral Solution Proposal to Reduce its Quasi-fiscal Deficit, approved by the Monetary Board on September 24, 2004.
