Bonds maintain losses after 2-year auction

U.S. government bonds held steady at lower levels on Wednesday after a solid auction of two-year Treasury notes.
After the auction, prices on two-year notes were down 2/32 on the day, yielding 4.64 percent. Prices on 10-year notes were down 5/32 to yield 4.65 percent. They were trading at similar levels just before the sale.

The Bank of Italy 6-month treasury bill (BOT) auction was 50.39 pct oversubscribed, while the yield rose from the previous auction.
