Russian Central Bank to hold bond auction March 15

The Russian Central Bank is to hold an auction for 250 billion rubles in first issue Central Bank bonds on March 15. The bonds mature on October 18, 2007 and have a put option.

According to a statement from the Central Bank’s PR department, the Central Bank series 04001 bonds acquired at the auction may be paid for with funds received from the sale to the Central Bank of third issue bonds on the same day.

According to the auction regulations, bids will be made from 13:15 to 13:45 Moscow time and the cutoff price will be announced at 14:15 Moscow time
