Japanese govt bonds close mostly higher after auction of 20-year bonds

Japanese government bond prices closed mostly higher after the result of today’s auction of 20-year government bonds cheered investors, dealers said.

Dealers said longer-dated bonds had attracted buying interest among institutional investors as they built up their holdings in preparation for the closing of their books next month.
